Refund Policy
Life happens. Here’s everything you need to know about rescheduling, cancelling, and what to do when plans change.

Cancellation Policy
When you confirm a session, that time is reserved exclusively for you. Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule so that Fionna has the opportunity to offer your spot to someone else.
Cancellations and rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours notice may attract the full session fee. If Fionna is able to fill the spot, the fee will be waived.

Late Cancellation Fees
Late cancellation and no show fees reflect the time that has been reserved exclusively for you and help sustain the practice. These fees are not covered by Medicare, private health insurance, or NDIS funding and will need to be paid directly.
If a pattern of late cancellations or missed appointments continues, Fionna will reach out to have an honest and supportive conversation about how to make the arrangement work for you. For NDIS participants, this will be approached collaboratively to assess the best path forward and ensure ongoing engagement that genuinely serves your goals.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

Rescheduling is subject to availability. Where possible, Fionna will do her best to find a time that works for you within the same week.

Refunds
If you have prepaid for a session package or block of sessions and wish to discontinue, refunds will be issued as follows:
- Unused sessions will be refunded in full, less any applicable cancellation fees for appointments already missed
- Refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days via the original payment method
- No refund will be issued for sessions already attended
To request a refund, please contact Fionna directly with your name, session dates, and reason for the request. All requests will be responded to within 2 business days.

Emergencies & Extenuating Circumstances
Life doesn’t always give notice
Genuine emergencies happen and Fionna understands that. If you need to cancel at short notice due to a medical emergency, bereavement, or other serious unforeseen circumstance, please reach out as soon as you are able.
These situations are handled on a case by case basis with compassion and discretion. Financial concerns should never be a barrier to accessing support … please don’t hesitate to have an honest conversation.
