Your sessions, explained

Initial Assessment

We begin by understanding your body's current capacity, any medical considerations, and what you most want from movement. No yoga experience required.

Adapted Practice

Each session is tailored to your body on that day ... using props, chair-based options, breathwork, and gentle sequencing to make movement accessible.

Nervous System Focus

Sessions incorporate breathwork and regulation to help you feel safe and grounded ... not just physically stronger.

Ongoing Support

Sessions can stand alone or complement individual counselling, weaving physical and emotional healing together.

Movement as medicine

Fionna is a certified yoga teacher with a background in neuroscience and chronic health support. Sessions draw on therapeutic yoga principles, trauma-sensitive practice, and an understanding of how the nervous system responds to movement.

The focus is always on what feels safe and nourishing for your body today. Progress is measured in how you feel, not what you can achieve.

More than a yoga class

These classes are grounded in yoga and emotional anatomy — designed to support your nervous system, not push past it. Whether you’re managing a health condition, recovering from burnout, or simply looking for a gentler way to move, this is a space where your body doesn’t need to perform.

Movement is explored as a way to reconnect — with breath, with sensation, and with what your body is actually asking for. There’s no pressure to keep up, and every class is adapted to meet you where you are.
