Session pricing, NDIS and Support at Home billing, and how referrals work at More Than Counselling.
You can refer yourself... no GP referral is required to begin. Professionals such as GPs or specialists are welcome to contact Fionna on your behalf, with your consent. A GP referral is not required for NDIS or Support at Home funded work either, though your care team is welcome to be involved with your consent.
Telehealth sessions are the same fee as in-person appointments. A small number of concession places are held for private clients, so cost is never the barrier to beginning · spots are limited and they do turn over, so it is always worth asking.
More Than Counselling welcomes NDIS participants who are plan managed or self-managed. Counselling is a Capacity Building support. A service agreement is completed before sessions begin, and invoices follow the current NDIS pricing arrangements. Agency-managed participants are encouraged to make contact to discuss options. Support at Home funding streams are also welcome. Full detail on the NDIS page.
More Than Counselling proudly services Support at Home packages, with counselling delivered under the clinical stream. Clinical services attract no co-contribution... your counselling is fully funded under your package, at no cost to you. Invoices are issued in line with current Support at Home guidelines. Referrer detail, indications and the indirect activity rate are on the Support at Home page.
No Medicare rebate and no private health rebate applies, which means no diagnosis and no referral is needed to begin. Fees and payment detail are on the Private clients page.
There are no rebates on private sessions. Counselling here is not claimable through Medicare and is not claimable through private health funds. The fee listed above is the full and final cost, and no provider number, referral or diagnosis is needed to begin.
Funded pathways are the exception: NDIS and Support at Home participants are billed to their funding rather than paying privately. See the sections above.
Payment is made at booking via credit or debit card, or by bank transfer. NDIS participants are invoiced in line with NDIS guidelines instead.
